Author Beth Lisick will be here to read from her bestselling book "Helping Me Help Myself". On New Year's Day 2006, Lisick awoke sick and tired of continuously dealing with the same set of nagging problems including an unorganized and chaotic house and a lack of exercise. Confronting her lifelong fear of self-help advice head-on, she consults nationally known experts for these problems by reading their books and attending their seminars. Lisick plunges herself into the world of self-help with a wry sense of humor and finds everything from the comedic, such as her time on a Cruise to Lose with Richard Simmons in the Caribbean, to some surprising self-revelations. There will be a book sale and signing which will also include the author's first book, Everybody into the Pool. Call 415-927-5005 for more information.
